Search Engine Watch seems to be the only source to pick up on this, and thanks to them for pointing to the new alliance of Clusty with job-listing search engine Indeed.com. Together, jobs.clusty.com provides job-related search results grouped in folders. You can conduct a wide-open search by state from the home page, then add job descriptors to the state name in the search field. Great example of relatively small players using their specialties to carve out a niche. This site is instantly more valuable than Craigslist (which is one of Indeed's sources, along with Monster.com and others), except that you cannot get search results delivered as an RSS feed.

1. Agreed. I think it is important that smaller players in the vertical 'job search' market should be looking to carve out a niche for themselves instead of taking on the likes of Indeed.com and SimplyHired. This what is being done at Biohealthmatics.com for Biotech and Health IT jobs and HealthCareerNet - for health care jobs.
